Why don't you feel the same every day?

Sometimes you have energy, sometimes you're tired — even though nothing outwardly has changed. Biorhythms can be one reason. They show you how your body, mood, and thinking are doing right now — and which days work in your favor or ask for more patience.

Using biorhythms in daily life

Use your rhythms as a compass, not a rulebook.

  • Schedule demanding tasks during phases of high energy
  • Give delicate conversations room when your emotional rhythm is stable
  • Trust days with a strong intellectual curve for decisions

Recognizing critical days

When a rhythm switches from positive to negative and back, it is called a critical day. At these transitions, uncertainty or volatility can occur. Our analysis marks these days so you can read them as a signal rather than chance:

  • Avoid rushing
  • Plan more breaks
  • Consider postponing important decisions

What are biorhythms?

The Berlin physician Wilhelm Fliess developed his period theory at the beginning of the 20th century. Based on many observations, he described two recurring cycles that shape body and mood from birth. Hermann Swoboda extended this theory with the emotional rhythm. Not fate, but a pattern that shows you how you are doing right now.

History of biorhythmics

The three primary rhythms

These three biorhythms form the foundations according to Fliess/Swoboda:

  • The physical rhythm affects strength and stamina
  • The emotional rhythm affects mood and sensitivity
  • The intellectual rhythm affects concentration and judgment

Our calculation shows you for each rhythm whether you are currently rising, in the middle, or declining.

Overview of known biorhythms

More than three cycles

Beyond the classic rhythms, Biorhy also considers additional cycles – such as intuition, perception, spirituality, or success. This gives you a more nuanced picture than simple three-rhythm calculators. Depending on the day, different areas can be strong or weak at the same time.
